Bond vigilantes betting on policy change in Tokyo saw the Bank of Japan lay out an unchanged quarterly asset purchase plan Thursday.
Despite benchmark yields bumping up against the central bank’s 0.25% cap and longer-maturity ones soaring, the BOJ kept the amount and frequencies of planned bond purchases unchanged in the July-September period, according to a statement.
