Women hold 35% of board seats at companies in the S&P/ASX 200 Index, another milestone toward gender equality at Australia’s largest firms.

Females held one more seat on the boards of companies in the benchmark gauge in May from the previous month, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Three out of the four companies that added women to boards were in the real estate sector.
