The acquittal last month of a former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer accused of lying to the FBI was a blow to Republicans who wanted to take the Russia probe down a notch. But it wasn’t a total loss for Donald Trump.
The former president on Tuesday night amended his March lawsuit accusing Clinton of leading a vast conspiracy against him to add details gleaned from testimony and evidence from Special Counsel John Durham’s failed prosecution of longtime Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann last month in Washington.
