Countries around the world should stop trying to control rising food and energy prices but should aim to “protect the most vulnerable” and ensure the poorest people are supported, the International Monetary Fund advised.
“Countries should aim at allowing domestic prices to follow international prices,” according to the report released Tuesday morning by the Fund.
