New York City’s recent surge of Covid-19 appears to be easing, new city data show.
Nearly 1,600 people tested positive for Covid-19 as of May 28, the latest date for which data is available. That day also marked the first time since May 5 that the seven-day rolling average of confirmed cases was below 3,000.
