National Australia CEO Heckled Over Climate Goals at Conference

A teenage protester confronted the head of Australia’s biggest business lender at a conference on Tuesday, accusing the bank of not doing enough to cut its funding of fossil fuels.

A schoolchild, who identified himself as Christopher Black aged 15, interrupted National Australia Bank Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Ross McEwan during a panel in Sydney, asking why the bank hadn’t aligned with the International Energy Agency’s emissions reduction blueprint.
