WeTransfer Boss Willoughby to Exit, CTO Vassilev to Succeed

WeTransfer Chief Executive Officer Gordon Willoughby, 59, is stepping down and will be succeeded by the company’s chief product and technology officer, Alexandar Vassilev.

After over five years leading the Amsterdam-based software company, Willoughby is moving back to the U.K. where his family is based, he said in an interview. The company surpassed 100 million euros ($105 million) of sales in 2021, according to a company statement.
