Biden Administration Urges Congress to Curb Risky Drone Activity

The Biden administration urged Congress on Monday to expand U.S. defenses against drones, calling the proliferation of the technology a new risk to public safety, privacy and national security.

The administration called on Congress to pass a law that would allow some law enforcement agencies to “mitigate” suspicious drones, such as by forcibly landing or destroying them.
