A U.K. Conservative Party lawmaker has been found guilty of committing assault on a boy in 2008, in a conviction that’ll likely trigger a special election.

Imran Ahmad Khan, 48, who has represented the city of Wakefield in northern England since 2019, was found guilty by a jury of sexually assaulting the teenager at a house in Staffordshire prior to him becoming a politician, the Crown Prosecution Service said Monday.
