Texas’s attorney general demanded more information from AbbVie Inc. and Endo International Plc as part of an ongoing investigation into whether the companies inappropriately promoted hormone blockers.
Ken Paxton said he issued civil investigative demands, a powerful legal tool to obtain evidence in an investigation, to see if the drugmakers promoted hormonal drugs to children for gender-affirming care. Paxton first announced the investigation in December.
