Cresco Labs in Talks to Buy Columbia Care for $2 Billion

Cresco Labs Inc. is nearing a deal to acquire Columbia Care Inc. for about $2 billion in what could be one of the largest cannabis industry transactions, according to people familiar with the matter.

Talks are advanced and the companies are ironing out details of an agreement, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the discussions are private. An announcement could come as soon as Wednesday, they said.
