Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy implored the U.S. for more help fending off Russia’s invasion, invoking Pearl Harbor and Sept. 11 to ask President Joe Biden to be “the leader of the world.”

Speaking to the U.S. House and Senate via video link on Wednesday, the Ukraine leader said he was addressing Biden, who was set to give his own remarks on aid to the embattled nation later in the morning.
