Barcelona Is Only Spanish Club With Negative Spending Limit

FC Barcelona is the only football club in Spain’s top division whose squad spending limit is less than zero.

Spanish competition LaLiga announced the new thresholds on clubs’ spending, setting Barcelona’s limit at a negative 144 million euros (negative $158 million), LaLiga Corporate Director Javier Gomez said at a news conference on Monday.
