Covid-19 Restrictions Ease in Australia as Case Numbers Fall

More than 14 million people living in Australia’s two biggest states will soon be able to sing and dance at nightclubs and other venues, after New South Wales and Victoria states announced a further easing of restrictions as Covid-19 hospitalizations and ICU admissions continue to decline.
The decisions come as the country reopens its international borders to tourists from Feb. 21, after almost two years of heavy travel curbs introduced to stem the spread of the disease.
