NYC’s Mayor Joins Adam Silver, Says Rule Keeping Kyrie Irving Off the Court Is ‘Unfair’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams doesn’t think the city’s vaccine rules that prevent Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving from playing in home games are fair.

“I think it’s unfair and I’m not sure if a Boston fan created this rule,” Adams said at a press briefing Wednesday, an apparent dig at former Mayor Bill de Blasio, a longtime Red Sox fan.
