India Sensex Climbs Most in More Than a Year Boosted by Reliance

India’s benchmark equities index climbed the most in more than a year, outperforming its peers in Asia, boosted by gains in Reliance Industries Ltd. News of Russia pulling back troops also supported sentiment in late trading.
The S&P BSE Sensex surged 3.1% to 58,142.05 in Mumbai, its biggest advance since Feb. 1 last year, compared to a 0.2% decline in the MSCI Asia Pacific Index. The NSE Nifty 50 Index gained 3%.
