Smart nutrition company Elo Health has raised $5 million, with backing from a former NFL player and the co-founder of the Oura ring.
The startup, launched in 2020, offers monthly, customized nutrition supplements that are personalized using an at-home blood test, activity metrics from wearables and artificial intelligence. In addition to supplements, the $99-a-month subscription gives customers access to biomarker testing and nutrition tracking in the Elo app. The company also allows members to test again after 90 days to receive updated supplements.
