MIT President Is Set to Resign After a Decade Leading the School

L. Rafael Reif will step down after a decade as president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Cambridge school didn’t specify in a news release Thursday its plans for naming a successor to lead MIT, whose graduates often ascend to the top ranks of both technology and finance.
