What Was Lost in Pittsburgh’s Broken Bridge

I woke up earlier than usual Friday morning, nudged by a phone notification that Pittsburgh Public Schools would be on a two-hour delay. This meant that a healthy portion of snow and/or ice was waiting for me out front to clear, and also that I’d have to jump on it pronto because I needed to get my 2-year-old to daycare. My one relieving thought was at least I wouldn’t have to fight through an armada of school buses to get him there.
