A New York Times Co. employee union is accusing the publisher of violating federal labor law by excluding unionized employees from three paid holidays.

A NewsGuild complaint filed Tuesday with the National Labor Relations Board alleges Times management is illegally trying to coerce employees by providing new benefits only to those who aren’t part of the union.
