Hong Kong’s stringent travel restrictions are now the biggest challenge for American businesses and expatriates in the city, with 44% of respondents in a new survey saying they’re likely to leave.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong said 60% of businesses and individuals surveyed in its 2022 sentiment study ranked international travel restrictions as their top concern, overtaking other hot-button issues like U.S.-China relations and political uncertainty.
