Via Transportation Inc. raised $130 million in venture capital funding, boosting the transit technology startup’s valuation to $3.3 billion as it moves to fill a growing need for more efficient public transportation options.

The financing was led by Janus Henderson Group Plc with participation from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock Inc., ION Crossover Partners Ltd, Koch Disruptive Technologies, and existing investor Exor NV, according to the company.
