Malaysia will hold its largest state election under Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s administration on Dec. 18, a month after his coalition clinched a resounding victory in local polls.
Votes will be cast for 82 state assembly seats in the Borneo state of Sarawak, according to the Election Commission. Nomination day will be on Dec. 6 while early voting is on Dec. 14, EC chief Abdul Ghani Salleh said in a briefing.
