Vestas Shuts Some IT Systems After Cyber Security Incident

Vestas Wind Systems A/S, one of the world’s biggest wind turbine makers, said it has shut down IT systems across multiple business units and locations to deal with a cyber security incident.

The incident occurred Nov. 19 and the company is working on recovering its systems, according to a statementBloomberg Terminal from Vestas on Saturday. The shutdown may affect “customers, employees and other stakeholders,” the Aarhus, Denmark-based company said.
