Yellen to Urge Finance CEOs to Put More Funds Into Climate Fight

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will meet Tuesday with finance-industry leaders at the United Nations COP26 conference in Glasgow, Scotland, urging them to channel more private capital into the fight against climate change.
Executives expected to attend the meeting include Bank of America Corp.’s chief executive officer, Brian Moynihan; State Street Corp.’s chief executive, Ron O’Hanley; BlackRock Inc.’s head, Larry Fink; and John Doerr, chairman of Kleiner Perkins, according to a list obtained by Bloomberg News. Michael R. Bloomberg, the majority owner and founder of Bloomberg News parent Bloomberg LP, is also scheduled to attend.
