Shares of Informatica Inc. recovered to end the day flat, after falling as much as 5.1% in the data-management software provider’s return to the public markets.
The stock closed Wednesday at $29, exactly the price it sold for in Informatica’s initial public offering. That values the Redwood City, California-based company at $7.9 billion.
