He’s leaving the second-richest person in the world, Jeff Bezos, in the dust.

Last week, Morgan Stanley predicted that Elon Musk would be the world’s first trillionaire. Interestingly, the firm sees SpaceX, not Tesla, as the company that really puts him over the top. Of course, Tesla itself is doing wildly well these days. And while it might seem unfathomable that anyone could be a trillionaire, Elon is over a quarter of the way there.
Our TV colleague in Hong Kong David Ingles made this chart, showing Elon’s net worth topping a quarter of a trillion dollars. And he’s leaving the #2 richest, Jeff Bezos, in the dust.
