Australia’s biggest companies added the most women to their boards in six months in September.

Women held eight more seats on the boards of companies in the S&P/ASX 200 Index last month compared to the previous month, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The average number of female directors was unchanged at 2.6, out of an average board size of 7.7.
