Stranded flyers across the U.S. are feeling anything but love for Southwest Airlines Co. this week.
The carrier cancelled more than a quarter of its scheduled flights Sunday, with disruptions continuing into Monday morning. The company, which began services from Love Field in Dallas about five decades ago, blamed weather conditions in Florida and air traffic control issues for the chaos. Its stock, which trades under the ticker symbol “LUV,” fell as much as 4.3% in early trading on the New York Stock Exchange before paring some losses.
