Konstantin Sidorov made a fortune in information technology and was an early investor in Spotify Technology SA and Lyft Inc. But some of his biggest returns lately have come from the financial sector.

His members-only investing group, London Technology Club, bet on financial-services firms Revolut and Paysend in early 2020, as well as payments business Rapyd later that year, according to Sidorov.

Each company’s valuation has more than doubled since Sidorov’s club bought stakes, with Revolut returning at least 500% after it raised $800 million in July from investors including SoftBank Group Corp. and Chase Coleman’s Tiger Global Management, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
