Airwallex Cayman Ltd. is raising new funding to accelerate its expansion in global payments, according to people familiar with the matter.
The Australian company is seeking to raise funds at a valuation in the range of $3.5 billion to $4 billion, the people said, requesting not to be named because the matter is private. Airwallex declined to comment.
