Renault SA’s turnaround plan is starting to pay off after the French carmaker withstood the effects of the pandemic and the global semiconductor shortage in the first half of the year, according to Chief Executive Officer Luca de Meo.
“We have been relatively resilient,” de Meo told Bloomberg Television on Wednesday. Financial results at the end of next month will show “some of the work that has been done in terms of fixed costs, variable costs and pricing.”
