The Group-of-Seven countries, which account for around a fifth of global emissions, agreed to a net-zero target for 2050, at the June 11-13 summit in the U.K. As a result, nations with some 41% of worldwide emissions have implemented such a goal, and another 26% have one under discussion or in the process of being legislated.
