Millions of doses of Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine were cleared for use after a months-long delay due to problems at a manufacturer hired to make the shot. Millions more could end up being thrown away.
The Food and Drug Administration released 10 million doses of the vaccine that were produced by Emergent BioSolutions Inc., according to people familiar with the matter.
