Following first-quarter gains that saw sales up 61% from the same period the previous year and a record quarter for deliveries, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. is working to balance out increasingly high sales volumes by indulging its clients’ penchant for rarity and exclusivity.
On Thursday in Goodwood, England, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, chief executive officer of the 116-year-old luxury brand, announced Rolls-Royce Coachbuild, a program that will allow its most elite customers to commission a car of their own.
