Swiss Take Steps to Guarantee Supplies of EU Medical Products

Switzerland’s government is taking steps to ensure makers of medical devices in the European Union can continue to sell their products in the country even after a key treaty expires next week.

There will be a period of transition to help companies adapt after the mutual recognition agreement for medical technology producers expires on May 26, the government in Bern said. It didn’t specify a time frame.
