Women on Boards of Top Global Bank Rose in First Quarter

The number of female directors on boards of the top 20 global banks by assets was unchanged in the first quarter from the previous three-month period. The average number was unchanged at 4.4, out of an average board size of 14.75. The percentage of female directorships rose to 29.8% from 29.7%. That compares with 29.2% for the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index and 32% at the S&P 500 Banks Index.
