South Korea’s economic recovery is making more headway, with the country’s export-led rebound showing signs of broadening to domestic consumption. Mobility data collected by Google shows activity around retail shops and recreation sites returned back to pre-pandemic levels on average during the past week. That shift suggests that the slump in household spending is easing, according to Bloomberg Economics’ Justin Jimenez.
