Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America is funding a $1 million grant for vaccination distribution support efforts by veteran-led disaster response organization Team Rubicon.

The more-than 160-year-old life insurer’s grant will help Team Rubicon provide ground support at vaccination sites in under-resourced communities across the U.S., it said Thursday in a statement. The funds will also help the organization in its goal to expand its reach to 500 such locations in the U.S.
