Croatia is in talks with Russia to buy Sputnik V, joining a growing number of east European countries to pursue the vaccine despite it lacking approval from European Union regulators.

The country has asked for documentation on vaccine production to be shared with its local drug regulator, Health Minister Vili Beros told reporters on Wednesday.
