Keynote addresses from U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Bloomberg LP founder Michael R. Bloomberg kick off the first day of CityLab’s 2021 conference, hosted by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Aspen Institute.
Panels on Monday will focus on vaccines, the economy, climate change, urban futures, the racial wealth gap and how to build a more just city. A full agenda can be found here. There are also four city co-hosts — Mayors London Breed of San Francisco, Claudia Lopez of Bogota, Yvonne Aki- Sawyerr of Freetown and Jan Vapaavuori of Helsinki — who will talk about their responses to the pandemic.
