AstraZeneca Plc’s coronavirus vaccine has started to sway regulators across Europe on evidence it works in the elderly. The challenge now will be to convince older people to sign up for the shot after earlier comments by politicians sowed doubt on its efficacy.
France on Monday endorsed Astra’s vaccine for patients who are 65 and older, and other countries including Germany are also considering doing away with controversial age limits.
