U.S. stocks continued their winning ways as Joe Biden took the oath of office as the 46th president. Technology stocks led the charge, with both the Nasdaq 100 Index and Nasdaq Composite Index climbing 2%. The S&P 500 Index advanced 1.4% to a record, marking its best first-day reaction to an elected president’s inauguration since Jan. 20 became the official start to a term in 1937.
