A top French lawmaker wants assurances the country is still open to foreign investment after Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said his opposition to a $20 billion trans-Atlantic retail deal was driven partly by politics.
Chairman of the National Assembly’s economic affairs committee, Roland Lescure, will be among lawmakers who grill Le Maire at a closed hearing later on Tuesday.
