Jefferies Adds Former GOP Senator Bob Corker as a Senior Adviser

Bob Corker, a former U.S. senator from Tennessee who took himself out of consideration as President Donald Trump’s running mate in 2016, is joining investment bank Jefferies Financial Group Inc. as a special adviser.
“I see a tremendous opportunity to utilize both my business background and the experience I’ve had over the past 12 years to impact the growth trajectory at Jefferies,” Corker, 68, said in an interview.
