France reported record new Covid-19 cases for the second day in a row, adding almost 27,000 infections. U.S. cases increased by 57,459, the most in more than two weeks, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University and Bloomberg.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who helped prepare Trump for last month’s presidential debate, left the hospital after a week.
