Boris Johnson Bites Back at Rumors He’s Still Sick After Covid

Boris Johnson likened himself to a vigorous dog as a way of illustrating just how physically fit he is -- following reports of concern among his Conservative Party colleagues that he has still not fully recovered from Covid-19.

“I am fitter than I was before,” the British prime minister said, when asked by the media about the rumors at the end of a speech in Exeter, southwest England. “I am fit as a butcher’s dog -- thanks, basically, to losing weight.”
