Swiss coffee trader Sucafina SA is expanding its North American business, making new hires even as the pandemic disrupts demand.

The Geneva-based company is bringing in Aileen Rerhrhaye from rival Mercon Coffee Group and Jean Robert “Rob” Menos from Coex Coffee International for senior positions. The additions will “supercharge” the company’s drive to become “the premier green coffee supplier in North America,” said Jordan Hooper, managing director for Sucafina in North America.
