China said Donald Trump was putting his and the Republican Party’s needs over those of the U.S., after the president said that under him, America would take its business out of China.

“I believe this is their act which tries to put their self-interests and the interests of their parties above the interests of the United States,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a briefing in Beijing on Friday. “Such political manipulation is unfeasible.”
