Singapore will offer Covid-19 tests for travelers to China prior to departure, in an effort to align with new Chinese requirements aimed at stemming the growing number of imported virus cases.

Testing will be made available between August 28 and August 31 at a dedicated screening center in the city-state, according to a joint government ministry statement. Passengers will then be informed of their results within 48 hours and must test negative in order to embark on their journeys. Each test will cost S$186.
